Mission

The Support Centre for Inclusive Higher Education (SIHO) serves both policy makers and institutions in the development and implementation of equity measures for inclusive higher education. SIHO considers inclusion as an important lever to strengthen our society and promote social justice. Two important pillars of SIHO's work are universal design and reasonable adjustments.

SIHO monthly organizes training activities, providing coaching and facilitating peer learning between HEI staff. Commitment, connection and innovation characterize SIHO's approach. SIHO wants to feel involved with every higher education institution and form a dynamic network with them, higher education policy authorities and the government, in which they can think together in openness, trust and equality and design guidelines for achieving inclusive higher education. By thinking ahead, seeing opportunities and building bridges for collaboration, SIHO aims to become an inspirer and trendsetter in inclusive higher education, both regionally and internationally.

The strength of SIHO is that all five universities associations of higher education institutions join forces to achieve inclusive higher education.
