Inspiring, open minded, sociable, funny… are some of the key words to describe the way we got to know Minke. Minke studies European Studies and lives in Amsterdam. She came across as a very outgoing and sociable person, but also as someone who is very conscious about herself.
She describes herself as open minded and as someone who is always keen to get to know new cultures and new languages. That’s part of the reason why Minke decided to go on Erasmus to Barcelona.
Furthermore, Minke has Rheumatoid Arthritis. This influenced her decision to go to Spain as well, because a low-stress lifestyle and a warm climate are good for her health.
Minke loves Barcelona and describes her Erasmus experience as non-typical. She wasn’t into partying every night, but really wanted to get to know the Spanish people and cultur.
