Mobility portraits

One of the main strategic goals of SIHO is raising awareness of the general public on studying with a disability and inclusive education. To enhance this awareness SIHO develops and distributes materials in the form of documentaries, guidelines and portraits. Below you can look at six portraits of students with a disability who went on an international exchange program.

Anke

Anke is a Belgian girl with ADHD, who graduated in 2011 as an interior architect. After her studies, she decided to do an internship with a Swedish designer.

Jessica

Jessica is a 21-year old girl from Ireland who studies French, Spanish and Irish and who is very interested in languages and culture. Last year she went on Erasmus to Barcelona.

Kevin

Kevin is a Dutch boy, who is in his third bachelor Business and Marketing Management in Amsterdam. He is very ambitious and focused on his studies.

Leonieke

Leonieke calls herself a ‘Dutchie living in Belgium’ since she was born in the Netherlands and already lives in Belgium for a couple of years.

Laima

Laima is a Lithuanian girl in her twenties. Together with her friend Rita she went on Erasmus to Rennes for one semester.

Minke

Inspiring, open minded, sociable, funny… are some of the key words to describe the way we got to know Minke. Minke studies European Studies and lives in Amsterdam.
