TZALWEL (‘SUREYOUCAN’)

Studying with a disability in higher education? TZALWEL ('SUREYOUCAN')

There are more students with a disability than everyone thinks. Sometimes they are visibly present in class, but often not at all. Students with a disability are not always eager to make their disability known. They fear that they will get a stamp or that they will be treated differently.

Short videos

In short thematic videos, five students with a disability testify about their experiences, dreams and ambitions. They show students in all aspects of studying and being young, having dreams and talents and looking for a job. This provides higher education and the general public with a realistic and non-stereotypical picture of studying with a disability.

Documentary

The video portraits of four students with a disability were assembled in a short documentary of about 30 minutes with English subtitles. This documentary displays the experiences, dreams and ambitions of students with a disability.
