Description

AmberScript automatically converts audio and video into text. Using speech-to-text algorithms, Amberscript quickly converts audio into an accurate transcript, which can be easily shared and edited via the associated online word editor.

For whom and why

The program has been developed to support people with a hearing impairment but is also useful for other students and mentors. People with a hearing impairment often have difficulty following spoken audio or video. Via Automatic Speech Recognition (ASR), AmberScript automatically generates subtitles or transcripts, making audio and video accessible. Because the software can quickly generate subtitles and transcripts, people with a hearing impairment can also follow the content without restrictions.

How does it work

Convert | Amberscript converts an audio or video file into a transcript which is easy to edit.
Synchronization | Then the transcript is "glued" to the audio timeline.
Adjust | With simple software, the user can now search the transcripts, highlight and adjust / edit parts of the transcript if necessary, so that they are 100% correct.

Pricing

With the free trial plan, you get 30 minutes of audio for free. After that, you have to pay to use Amberscript. The Amberscript employees provide the necessary adjustments to the transcripts.
