Description

• Since October 2015, students of KU Leuven have been able to contact the Leuven Language Institute (ILT) for writing guidance and coaching.
• They can receive support at every stage of the writing process and if they have questions about the delineation of the subject, the elaboration of the problem statement and research question, the argumentation, the paragraph division or the general structure and style of the paper.

For whom and why

All KU Leuven Bachelor’s and Master’s students (Leuven University Campus) can register for an individual tutoring session, as writing is important in almost every course and writing a good academic text is not easy. Receiving feedback from a co-reader is therefore an added value for those who write a paper, report, bachelor's or master's thesis.

How does it work

• The Writing Center offers free one-on-one tutoring sessions to help you with your academic writing assignments. You can book an appointment to discuss an assignment with a writing tutor twice a year. The writing tutors try to be neutral, critical readers. They are not editors or correctors who prepare the text for the students, but look together with the student how he or she can produce a good academic text in a productive way.

Pricing

The coaching sessions are free for students from all study programs at KU Leuven.

Language
